Más razones para quedarse despierto en la madrugada del sábado: La Casa del Rock Naciente presentará un especial de los Doors, celebrando la reedición de toda su discografía de estudio en nuestro país, remixada por el grupo junto al ingeniero histórico de la banda, Bruce Botnick, con el agregado de abundantes bonus tracks, comentarios de cada disco y letras de las canciones. También este domingo, un informe especial sobre los afluentes del punk, con música de los artistas que influenciaron la movida: Velvet Underground, The Stooges, New York Dolls y varios más. ANTICIPANDO EL DOMINGO 22 DE ABRIL

Se viene otro domingo súper-intenso en La Casa del Rock Naciente, porque estamos atestados de novedades de todas partes.

De Estados Unidos nos llegaron los últimos lanzamientos del sello avant-garde Cuneiform, incluyendo The Mahavishnu Project, la banda de homenaje al gran grupo que en los años ’70 supo tener el virtuoso guitarrista inglés John McLaughlin. Estará presente también Far Corner, grupo de Milwaukee, Wisconsin, que practica una exquisita fusión de rock y música de cámara y también presentaremos una deliciosa reedición, la del álbum “Hopper Tunity Box” del eximio ex bajista de Soft Machine, Hugh Hopper.

Del sello Ever nos llegó el grupo Adjágas, que combina aquel sonido oceánico que uno asocia con Cocteau Twins y la música del sello 4AD con folklóricas armonías nórdicas, como que la banda proviene del norte de Escandinavia.

También exploraremos los sonidos de “Cassadaga” el nuevo álbum de Bright Eyes, vehículo para las aventuras musicales del cantautor Conor Oberst, uno de los más inquietos artistas que surgieron del actual panorama indie de Estados Unidos.

Y esas son las novedades inéditas pero como ha sido una prolífica semana en ediciones locales de material anglo, recorreremos la música de “Because of the Times” el nuevo larga duración del grupo Kings of Leon, exponentes del nuevo rock sureño estadounidense.

¿Y qué hay de los especiales? Bueno, agárrense, porque tendremos una sección especial dedicada a rockeros progresivos y sinfónicos, los conocidos y los no tan conocidos…


Y eso para ir empezando. Esperamos también las nuevas reediciones de los Doors para hacer un exhaustivo estudio de su carrera. Y por supuesto estarán las secciones habituales: Rock y Celuloide, trazando la relación del rock con una gran película; Dos Gotas, explorando dos lecturas diferentes de una misma canción; 3 momentos, donde sorprendemos a un artista en tres etapas distintas de su evolución, el Disco Gamba, ese que nos acompaña durante todo el programa y también poesía, cuentos y una sorpresa especial en la Zona Fantasma, relacionada con el azufre y el Angel Caído y encarada con buen humor.

Y secciones para los Smiths, Ten Years After, Deep Purple, Pappo y mucho más, de aquí, de allá y de todas partes.

¿Todo esto en un mismo programa? Sí, aunque parezca mentira. ¿Dónde?. En La Casa del Rock Naciente, el domingo 22 de abril, de 3 a 8 de la matina. ¡Un buen motivo para trasnochar!

ANTICIPANDO EL DOMINGO 15

Para que vayan salivando como el proverbial perro de Pavlov, les anticipamos algunas de las perlas que desfilarán por los pasillos de La Casa del Rock Naciente en esta nueva lujuria de cinco horas que poseemos en las madrugadas que van del sábado al domingo. El próximo domingo 15 de abril, a partir de las 3 de la matina y hasta las 8 podrán degustarse los siguientes manjares.

El flamante álbum del nuevo grupo de Nick Cave, Grinderman, con toda la furia dark del gran australiano.

“Real Time”, el álbum doble en vivo de Van der Graaf Generator, que conmemora su concierto-reunión de mayo de 2005 en el Royal Festival Hall, de Londres.

Un detallado especial acerca de Apple, el famoso sello de los Beatles y sus curiosos artistas.

Nuevas bandas anglo: Hot Chip, Klaxons, The Kooks, The Horrors, Long Blondes y muchas más.

Un homenaje al gran pope del blues blanco inglés, Alexis Korner, con todos los grupos que ayudó a crear (The Rolling Stones, The Pretty Things, la Graham Bond Organisation, Cream, Free y hasta Led Zeppelin. Además, la propia trayectoria de Korner en los 60 y 70, con oscuros grupos como CCS y Snape.).

Informe sobre un sello emblemático del rock nacional como fue Talent, con declaraciones del cantante de la Pesada del Rock and Roll y productor de muchos álbumes claves, Billy Bond.

En los Álbumes Clásicos, el que fue votado como mejor álbum del rock nacional: “Artaud”, de Pescado Rabioso, que en realidad y a todos los efectos prácticos es el segundo disco solista de Luis Alberto Spinetta.

Y más, mucho más en las cinco deliciosas horas de La Casa del Rock Naciente, en su 10º aniversario, por la Rock & Pop.

LA MANO DE ABRIL TE LEE EL FUTURO

Bueno, este "chivito" es un placer. Ya verlo a Pettinato disfrazado de mago tiene lo suyo, pero lo importante es que por sólo 8 maravedíes, menos de lo que cuesta un viaje en taxi a ninguna parte, pueden hacerse del reportaje al gran ROBIN WILLIAMSON, donde el exIncredible String Band comenta vicisitudes de su último y gran álbum "The Iron Stone", además de filosofar a gusto sobre la vida y sus vericuetos. Me honra haber participado en ese reportaje junto al inefable Pipo Lernoud, quien también escribió una nota llamada "No te Calentés, es sólo el cambio climático", acerca del futuro de nustro planeta. (A propósito, su libro de poemas "Sin Tiempo, Sin Memoria" ya se consigue en Musimundo y en selectas librerías. Imperdible).
En realidad todo el nuevo número de La Mano es un minestrón conceptual sobre el futuro y sus perspectivas, y como dice el Indio Solari, el futuro llegó hace rato. En otro orden de cosas, entrevistamos a JAIME ROOS con el Sr. Marcelo Fernández Bitar y lo encontramos lúcido y filoso como faca. ANTICIPANDO LA MADRUGADA DEL DOMINGO 8

El primer objetivo es ajustar el reloj biológico. Una vez despreocupados de esto, paso a contarles algunas de las cosas que se vienen el domingo, por ejemplo, un especial sobre la guitarra slide y el blues, un pasaje por diversas etapas del rock de Detroit City, un gran Tesoro Oculto con una breve pero sobresaliente banda llamada Opal, que tuvo su cuarto de hora de vida en los '80 y en Estados Unidos. Otro Tesoro Oculto será el crédito del sello Too Pure, el grupo de Birmingham, Pram, con su álbum de 2003 Dark Island. La sección El Largo será para un clásico de Wishbone Ash y tendremos Tres Al Hilo con Charly en vivo, en otras tres etapas de su carrera. También un recital exclusivo de The Grateful Dead, de su último triple en vivo (cuatro si contamos el CD bonus) editado. En realidad es un concierto de 1976 llamado "Live at Cow Palace - New Year's Eve 1976". Y más, mucha más música, este domingo a las 03 de la mañana. ¡No ti dormi! Chau. Los espero. Alfredo
